Iyothee Thass Pandithar Habitation Development Scheme

To improve basic facilities like roads, street lights and drinking water in Adi Dravidar habitation in urban and rural areas, the Iyothee Thass Pandithar Habitation Development Scheme, is undertaken from the financial year 2023-24 at a cost of Rs.1000.00 crore to be spent across five years, of which annually Rs.100.00 crore is allocated to the Rural Development Department Rs.50.00 crore is allocated to Municipalities and Rs.50.00 crore is allocated to the Tamil Nadu Housing Development Board. In addition, 120 communities Hall have been constructed at the Cost of Rs. 100.00 Crore.

Abstract of Schemes Adi Dravidar Welfare Department is implementation of State & Central welfare schemes to uplift the Socio Economic conditions of SC/ST and to provide civic amenities in the SC/ST habitation and to achieve the goal of ensuring Social Justice and Social Equality towards achievement of 2047.
